In the fall I had the wonderful opportunity
to help celebrate the release of my friend Joe
Reilly’s new CD, Planting Gardens at
Fire
in Kalamazoo.

This past summer (winter in South America)
I spent doing archaeological field work in Bolivia. The
majority of the time I was working in Potosí, but
I had the opportunity to do some work on the Copacabana
peninsula too. I even got to play an outdoor show at the
fair for the Bolivian Independence Day weekend (6 of August).

Also in August, I had the opportunity to play
for my friends while I visited them San Salvador, El Salvador.
¡Shout-outs y saludos a todos mis amigos
allá en el barrio de La Chacra: Douglas, Reina, Fátima,
Roberto, Mancho y más!
It is always a pleasure to play for family, as I am pictured
below with my relatives in the Netherlands. The picture
next to it was from a small concert in the spring at the
Portage Public Library.
